Haley Sones is a Strength and Conditioning Coach who just moved back into the area. For the last eight years she has been pursuing her dreams out West. After playing softball for two years at Copiah Lincoln Community College, she finished her career at BYU-Hawai’i. While attending BYU-Hawai’i, Haley finished her Bachelor's Degree in Exercise and Sports Science. After her years at BYU-Hawai’i, she worked with the University of Hawai’i as an Intern Strength and Conditioning Coach were she assisted with the Football teams and the Nationally ranked Volleyball team. Later, Haley continued her education at Fresno Pacific University and completed the Kinesiology with an emphasis of Sports Administration Master's Program.
Haley moved to Las Vegas and continued to train athletes from all levels. She worked with both professional men and women Cross Country skiers, Golfers, Baseball Basketball, Soccer, Football, and Hockey players. Also in Las Vegas, she worked as an Assistant Softball Coach at a D1 Juco, College of Southern Nevada. She specifically worked with the outfield, catchers, and took over as the hitting coach.
As an athlete, Haley played at Co-Lin for two years. She received All Conference Player, 2nd All State First Basemen, and played in the All Star Game for Sophomores. At BYU-Hawai’i, she received All-West Pac Player of the week 3 times and All West Pac Player of the Year.
Overall, Haley enjoys training young athletes and specializes in their development of fundamental skills. She is super excited to be back home and is looking forward to give back to the athletes within her community.
Brian Wagner attended Tokay High School in Lodi, Ca. where he was drafted by the Cleveland Indians. He went on to play college baseball at Sacramento City College, 1995-1996. At Sac City he was the first freshman catcher to earn the starting job in 10 years.
Following his freshman year, Wagner was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers. Upon completion of his sophomore year, Wagner accepted a scholarship from Cal State Northridge. Following his junior year, the program at Northridge was dropped and he accepted an offer to play for The University of Southern Mississippi. Following his time at Southern Miss, Wagner went on to play in the Northern League for the Madison Blackwolf. While with the Blackwolf he earned Rookie of The Year honors and led the league in runners caught stealing at a 45% throw out rate. Since retiring from baseball,
Wagner has enjoyed a successful business career. Brian is married to Kelly Wagner and they have two kids, Addysen (10) and Barrett (7). While away from work Wagner enjoys training for and competing in triathlons. He is currently training for Ironman New Orleans.
A 1990 graduate of Leland High School, Matt went on to play at Mississippi Delta Community College where he led the nation with 19 saves in 1991. He moved to Division II power Delta State University and finished 1995 with a school record 0.36 ERA in 28 appearances and was named to the All-American team by ABCA.
Matt went on to enjoy a 13 year professional baseball career with seven different organizations including 5 years at the Major League level with the Cleveland Indians and Colorado Rockies. He retired in 2008 after logging 100 games in the Big Leagues with a 2.72 career ERA. Matt, along with running 59 Baseball, works as a associate scout with the Boston Red Sox.
Constance is a native of Hattiesburg where she attended Oak Grove High School from 2009-2013 and graduated as a six year starter in varsity softball and a four year starter in varsity basketball.
Constance was awarded a full athletic scholarship at Louisiana State University, where as a four year starter, was an integral part of the teams that played for the SEC championship for two consecutive seasons and played in three consecutive College Softball World Series from 2015-2017. She also had the unique opportunity to play collegiate basketball for a semester while balancing her softball career during her junior year at LSU.
Constance has helped to develop elite athletes on a high school and collegiate level and is determined to give back to the community by enhancing local talent here in Mississippi.
